HYDROXY ETHYL CELLULOSE (HEC)
Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose (HEC), also known as hydroxyethyl ether, are water-based polymers. They boasts remarkable properties as a versatile thickening or gelling agent used in a wide range of industries such as paints & coatings, construction, household & personal care, oil & gas, food & beverages. It is derived from cellulose, a natural component of plant cell walls.
The HEC is capable of forming high-viscosity solutions at small concentrations. It comes in various grades [varying viscosity (cps)] which effectively provides formulators with options for efficient thickening control in their products.
Duro Kimia supplies Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose in packaging of 25kg bags.
