Foam can be a problem in food & beverage processing because it can interfere with the production process, contaminate the product and make it particularly difficult to package and ship. The antifoaming agents work by breaking the surface tension of the foam, which causes it to collapse.
Duro Kimia’s silicone-based Food Grade antifoaming agent complies to stringent food processing use standards. In order to maximise production, this specialty additive is developed for brewing, food processing and other applications where a highly-effective and quick knockdown of foam is required.
The Food Grade antifoam is qualified with Halal and Kosher Certifications.
